Salling Clicker 3.0.1; wireless phone/PDA-based remote control for Mac and Windows updated
STOCKHOLM, Sweden—December 14, 2005—Salling Software AB today announced the immediate availability of Salling Clicker 3.0.1, the latest free upgrade to its ground-breaking two-way remote control software for Windows XP and Mac OS X. Salling Clicker offers the ability to wirelessly control popular applications like iTunes, PowerPoint, and others from a mobile phone or PDA.
Salling Clicker 3.0.1 now works with Windows Mobile 5 devices, older Nokia S60 phones, the new Sony Ericsson W900i, and Cingular-branded Sony Ericsson Z520a and W600i phones. In addition, the updated software makes it possible for Windows users to control BSPlayer video playback and improves Mac support for the EyeTV, DVD Player, and QuickTime Player applications.
Unlike dedicated hardware remote controls for computers, Salling Clicker does not require additional chargers or battery purchases. More importantly, it leverages an existing hardware investment to provide unique features: in-hand access to slide notes, previews of upcoming slides, attractive display of album artwork, and rich search features to find music.

Salling Clicker 3.0.1 is available from www.salling.com. It costs $23.95 (US) per user/platform license. Upgrades from previous versions are free. Salling Clicker is compatible with many mobile phones, handheld computers, and requires WiFi or Bluetooth connectivity hardware (Widcomm's and Microsoft's SP2 Bluetooth stacks are supported on Windows).
